Common questions
Does maiGrex work without cell service?
Yes. That is the point. Photos, voice notes, and records all capture with no signal. Everything uploads by itself when you get back in range, and you can see a count of what is still waiting to sync.
How long does it take to record an animal?
About twenty to thirty seconds. Photo, voice note, confirm, next animal.
Does maiGrex tell me if an animal is sick?
No. maiGrex keeps your records. It does not detect, diagnose, or treat any illness or condition, and nothing it shows you is veterinary advice. It stores what you write down and makes it easy to find later. Every decision about an animal is yours. Talk to your vet.
What happens to my records when I sell an animal?
You can transfer the animal's record to the buyer. The transfer carries the animal's photos, its attributes and history, and an approximate location. It does not carry your voice recordings, your notes, or your precise location. Those stay with you, and you keep a read only copy of your own time with the animal.
Do I have to pay?
Not up to ten head, and not during the beta. After that the plan follows the size of the herd: $25 a month billed annually up to 100 head, $59 up to 500, and we talk it through above that. Every plan is the whole app. Founding Herds pay half of whatever plan they are on, for life. Billing is handled on our website, not through the app stores. See pricing.
