For buyers, feedlots and sale barns
When a producer sells you an animal, the paperwork usually stops at the sale. maiGrex lets the history come with it.
Receiving records is free. You do not need a paid account to take delivery of an animal's history. There is nothing to buy on this side.
What a transferred record contains
- Photographs of the animal over its life, not just at the sale.
- The structured history: ear tag and any earlier ear tags, weights, dates, breed, lineage, and the attributes the producer recorded along the way.
- Roughly where each observation happened.
- Who recorded it. Anything from before the transfer is marked as recorded by the previous owner, so you know what came from where.
What it does not contain
A transfer carries the animal's record, not the seller's private information. It does not include their voice recordings, the written notes from those recordings, or their precise coordinates. That stays with them.
It is also not a health certificate, an inspection, or a regulatory filing. maiGrex is a record keeping tool. It does not detect, diagnose, or treat anything, and nothing in a record is veterinary advice or a finding about an animal. What you are getting is a documented history, which is worth having, and it does not replace your own inspection or your vet.
